N448WH was built from
plans obtained from Ed Marquart,the designer. Power is a Lycoming O-320
with a metal McCauley 72X54 propeller. The airplane is covered with
Dacron and finished with the Cooper System II process. First
flight was in April 1992 and the airplane has been flown regularly since
that time.
Warren's Cane
Creek Airport hangar in the background was built during a break in the
construction of the Charger. You can usually find Warren there
working on any number of aircraft projects, the latest of which is his
original design high-wing "Hobo."
