Experimental Aircraft Association
Kiffin Yates Rockwell Chapter 1016
Asheville - North Carolina

THE YOUNG EAGLES PROGRAM IS THE EXPERIMENTAL AIRCRAFT ASSOCIATION'S HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL EFFORT TO INTRODUCE YOUNG PEOPLE TO THE WORLD OF AVIATION BY PROVIDING THEM WITH INTRODUCTORY FLIGHTS ABOARD MEMBERS' AIRCRAFT.

Andy Guenette will lead the Young Eagle program for Chaper 1016 this year.  Most flights for 2005 will be flown out of the Asheville airport.

Each Young Eagle has his or her name entered into a log book at EAA Headquarters in Oshkosh, and on completion of their flight they are awarded a certificate commemorating their experience.

This page contains photographs of recent Young Eagles events. All Chapter members who are licensed pilots are strongly encouraged to participate in this rewarding program. Our Chapter's thanks also go to the WNC Air Museum and its members who share this important service to the youth of our community.
